Muffles College bobcats represent Belize at Robotics FIRST 2026 Championship in Houston

By Zoila Palma:  On April 27, 2026, students from Muffles College High School (MCHS) departed for Houston, Texas, USA, to represent Belize at the FIRST 2026 Championship, an international competition organized by FIRST.

The 2026 FIRST Championship is scheduled for April 29 – May 2, 2026, in Houston, Texas.

The global robotics finale, often referred to as “Worlds,” will take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

Team Belize will compete alongside students from around the world in science, technology, engineering, and innovation challenges.

The school extended well wishes to its participants, highlighting their pride in sending a proactive and innovative team of students to the global stage.

Students representing Muffles College include Maidie, Morgan, Krystian, Aiden, Carlos, Zyanie, Jaevanie, Mannat, and Annais.

The school community rallied behind them with encouragement as they prepare for the competition.

Muffles College also expressed appreciation to mentors Carim and Michael for their guidance and support in preparing the team for the international event.
