By Zoila Palma: On April 22, 2026, Mopan Technical High School joined in the observance of Earth Day 2026.
Earth Day 2026 was celebrated through the theme, “Our power, our planet.”
Mopan Technical High School students urged everyone to conserve water and to refrain from littering.
“𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐝, 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐚 t𝐫𝐞𝐞. Today is the day to start. Our planet needs more green.
𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲. Always be conscious and considerate and turn of the lights, the TV and go for a walk.
At 𝐌𝐓𝐇𝐒 we are always working, in small steps towards making a difference and contributing towards a better 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐇 for future generations,” the school said.
