By Zoila Palma: Police have confirmed that Indian Creek alcalde Marcus Canti has been found safe.
Canti was reportedly found today around 3am.
The alcalde reported that he was kidnapped by 2 men who took him into the bush and tied him up.
Canti says that early today, he was released on the outskirts of Indian Creek Village.
Canti stated that he is in severe pain and was transported to a medical center for medical attention.
Police investigations continue.
