Belikin La Ruta Maya Belize River Challenge 2026: PACT on TRAK strengthen their lead with another stage win at Double Head Cabbage

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Team PACT on TRAK — Amado Cruz, Enrique Cruz, and Cristian Lopez — extended their dominance of the Belikin La Ruta Maya Belize River Challenge 2026 on Saturday, arriving first at 12:26 pm at Double Head Cabbage. Since Stage 2 began at 6:30 am, their unofficial time stands at 5 hours and 56 minutes (5:56), giving them back‑to‑back stage victories and a firm grip on the overall standings.

At 12:27 pm, the riverbank erupted as Riverside Boys (Toucan Solutions) — Henner Cruz, Efrain Cruz, and Brian Cruz — Ranza River Cruisers — Daniel Cruz Sr., Francisca Cruz Pfaender, and Daniel Cruz Jr. — and Black Orchid Resort — Carlos Linares, Brandon Lind, and Jesus Linares — stormed into the finish side by side in a dramatic three‑way sprint.

Riverside Boys edged ahead to take second, Ranza River Cruisers claimed third, and Black Orchid Resort, who had been leading just ahead of the finish line, were overtaken in the final metres and forced to settle for fourth.

A short while later, Koop Sheet Metal — Alfred Lopez, Allen Lopez, and Byron Cruz — secured fifth place.

The first C2 team, River Blazer Bros — Javier Guardado and Cabb Jr. — continued their remarkable run by finishing sixth, reinforcing their status as the top two‑man crew in the race.

Lucas Oil Family — Armin Lopez Sr., Armin Lopez Jr., and Ulises Lopez — followed in seventh, Team Brothers — Luis Garcia, Josey Garcia, and Yonie Garcia — took eighth, and Lucas Oil Mixed — Claton Cabb, Milenie Cabb, and Eric Cano — finished ninth.

Napoles — Rudolph Sho, Roel Sho, and Marvin Alvarez — rounded out the top ten.

The standings behind the leaders remain tight, setting up a tense and competitive Day 3 (Double Head Cabbage — Burrell Boom) as the race heads toward Belize City.
