By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police are searching for suspects following a break-in at the Belize Bank in Dangriga Town early Monday morning.
According to police reports, officers were notified around 3:45 a.m. that the bank located on Ecumenical Drive had been burglarized. Upon arrival, police found signs of forced entry at the back of the building.
Inside the branch, officers observed that the premises had been ransacked, with work areas and teller stations disturbed. Despite the damage caused, bank officials have so far reported that no money was taken.
Police are seeking information on a black Ford Escape believed to be connected to the burglary after it was seen leaving the area at high speed. Officials are urging anyone with information to come forward.
