Verdes FC completed their regular season unbeaten with a 5–0 win over Port Layola on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Edmund Marshalleck Stadium in Benque Viejo del Carmen, closing the Premier League of Belize 2025–2026 Opening Championship in dominant fashion.
Goals came from Richard Monges (11’), Felix Martinez (18’), Jordy Polancio (20’, 90+4’), and Bryan Lozano (32’).
Verdes finish top of the table with 30 points and a +27 goal differential, securing the #1 seed for the playoffs. Port Layola remain second with 21 points and a +11 GD, setting up a semifinal clash with third-place Progresso. Verdes will face fourth-place Belmopan FC.
