By Zoila Palma: Congratulations are in order for Elisha Martinez, who today proudly graduates from Galen University with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
Martinez first made headlines in 2022 when she competed for Queen of the Bay San Ignacio/Santa Elena. Winning the title, she was also awarded a scholarship from Galen University. She later represented the Twin Towns at the National Queen of the Bay Pageant, where she placed third.
Grateful for the opportunity, Martinez expressed heartfelt thanks to the San Ignacio/Santa Elena Town Council, with special mention to Mayor Earl Trapp, Ms. Nazlie Husle, Ms. Shirlene Neal, and Ms. Vanessa Chan for their support during her journey.
She also had a message for young women facing challenges: “Life is not without difficulties, but you can still achieve any goal. You just show up for yourself, even when it’s hard. Do your best — your best is enough.”
Martinez also extended deep appreciation to her family and friends, thanking them for standing by her from the very beginning.
Her academic milestone today stands as a testament to perseverance, community support, and self-belief.
