By Zoila Palma: Prime Minister John Briceño, departed Belize on Sunday, July 6, 2025, en route to Montego Bay, Jamaica, to attend the 49th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
The Prime Minister is scheduled to return to Belize on July 10, 2025.
During his absence, Cordel Hyde, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources, Petroleum, and Mining, will hold over as Prime Minister.
