By Zoila Palma: In a move aimed at enhancing Belize’s role in the international postal community, Michel Chebat, Minister of Public Utilities, Energy & Logistics, held a key meeting with Dr. Franklin Castro, Secretary General of the Postal Union of the Americas, Spain and Portugal (PUASP).
The meeting centered on Belize’s interest in joining PUASP, a regional body that promotes cooperation, modernization, and development among postal services in its member states.

The meeting brought together senior representatives from both the Ministry and the PUASP delegation, who engaged in comprehensive discussions on the obligations, benefits, and collaborative opportunities that come with membership.
