Minister Fonseca extended congratulations to Canada on its recent elections and reaffirmed Belize’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations through cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
In addition, Minister Fonseca provided an update on the Belize-Guatemala border dispute.
Discussions also included regional and bilateral issues, including the situation in Haiti, energy cooperation, visa waivers, and scholarship opportunities.
