Sacred Heart College is thrilled to announce that Britney Flores of Class 4F has won the 1st place prize in the Essay Competition organized by the Belize Department of Civil Aviation. This event, which coincided with Civil Aviation Day and Safety Awareness Week in December 2024, allowed students to share their thoughts on the topic: “How could safety in the aviation sector improve in Belize.”
Britney’s exceptional essay not only showcased her writing talent but also her deep understanding of aviation safety issues in Belize. Her insightful analysis and innovative suggestions stood out among other high school entries, demonstrating the high caliber of students at Sacred Heart College.
As part of her recognition for this achievement, Britney today received a laptop, and Sacred Heart College received a desktop computer and $2,000.00 in cash to support educational initiatives.
