By Horace Palacio: Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting in the Arizona Area of Teakettle Village, where a man identified as Santiago Rajo was shot and killed.
Details surrounding the incident remain scarce, and police have yet to release official information regarding the motive or possible suspects. However, residents of the area have taken to social media to express their concerns over the rising crime rate and lack of police presence.
One resident, in a Facebook post, stated that hardworking community members are frequently targeted by robbers and thieves from outside the village. The post also called for the establishment of a police substation in the area to help deter criminal activity.
