By Aaron Humes: A Cayo District man is in hospital tonight after being targeted in a shooting incident in the Bradley’s Bank area of Santa Elena Town.
Johnathan Cruz reported to responding police that he was on the side porch of his house when he saw a blue SUV passing slowly by, then suddenly a slim dark skinned man dressed in a mustard shirt with a hoodie and a cap on his head, also wearing a rag over his mouth began shooting in his direction.
Cruz managed to run to the back fence and escape but he sustained an open cut wound to the inner left arm. He was transported to hospital via ambulance where he remains.
A Police investigation is underway.
