By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On December 14, 2023, officers at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology’s headquarters in Belmopan participated in the Hour of Code global event.
The event was hosted by the Ministry’s Science and Technology Unit.
The event helps to promote coding as a digital skill and as a means to drive innovation.
The Ministry commended Namrita Balani, Director of Science and Technology and Carlos Quiroz, National School Portal Coordinator for organising this fun activity.
The Ministry also highlighted participating officers Ziana K. Meighan, Justin Anderson, Rasheda Roches, Mychal Balderamos, Jasmin Rhamdas, Regina Makin, Albert Uck and Gabriel Ramirez.
