By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On June 5, 2024, the Belize National Celebrations Commission officially unveiled the Belize at 43 theme for this yearโs September celebrations.
Belizeans prepare to celebrate the 43rd Anniversary of Belizeโs Independence with school parades, presentations, talent shows and proud displays of patriotism.
From 615 entries, the winning entry was submitted by David Watson from San Pedro Village in the Corozal District.
The winning theme โ๐ ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ: ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐๐ฒ@๐ฐ๐ฏโ will now be imprinted on tshirts, cups and more promoting Belize and celebrating strides since Independence.
