By Aaron Humes: 18-year-old Gustavo Artiaga of Belize City was stabbed to the right hand, left abdomen area, left hip, and left chest area after an incident at a nightclub early this Boxing Day, Friday.
Initial investigation revealed that sometime around 3:00 a.m. Artiaga was socializing at MJ’s Cool Spot on West Collet Canal when he decided to use the restroom. Upon exiting the bathroom he was approached by the boyfriend of his ex-girlfriend, known to him as “Hesus”. An argument ensued between the two which led to a scuffle where “Hesus” pulled out a pocket knife and inflicted the above-mentioned injuries to Gustavo Artiaga.
Artiaga made his way to KHMH to receive medical attention. He remains in a stable condition. Police are investigating.
