By Horace Palacio: A motorcycle accident claimed the life of a young man on the Southern Highway on Saturday night. The incident occurred near the Hopkins junction.
Cristian Chuc, a 29-year-old resident of Santa Cruz, was riding his motorcycle when he was thrown onto the pavement. The impact caused severe head injuries, and despite the efforts of emergency responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
