Stepping out of the forest and into the heart of Maya heritage, the Ya’axché team highlighted its ongoing commitment to preserving ancient sites through collaboration with the Institute of Archaeology, archaeologists, researchers, and local communities.
The organization emphasized the importance of protecting both the natural environment and Belize’s cultural legacy, which remain deeply intertwined.
Visitors were encouraged to stop by Nim Li Punit to experience firsthand the powerful connection between Belize’s rich archaeological history and its vibrant natural landscapes.
