By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): An attempted robbery at MO’s Market in Corozal Town ended violently on Sunday night when an alleged suspect was caught and beaten by residents before police arrived.
According to reports, the man entered the establishment with the intent to rob it but was quickly overpowered by individuals nearby. Images from the scene show the suspect injured and lying on the floor as officers arrived to take him into custody.
The suspect, whose identity has not yet been released by police, sustained visible injuries and was transported for medical attention before being detained.
Police investigations continue.
