This year’s World Food day theme is “Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future.”
Special Envoy for the Development of Families and Children Rosanna Briceno noted that the day serves as a reminder of the urgent need to ensure that everyone have access to safe, nutritious, and affordable food, which is essential for a healthier life and a brighter tomorrow.
“The day also highlights the significance of food security, sustainable farming, and responsible food production in tackling today’s global challenges.
By ensuring fair access to food, we give individuals the chance to grow, succeed, and strengthen their communities,” the Special Envoy said.
