By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The cyclists in the Women Junior/Youth categories will hit the road for the 34th Annual KREM New Year’s Day Cycling Classic on Wednesday, January 1st, 2025. Organized by KREM Radio in collaboration with the Cycling Federation of Belize (CFB) under the regulations of the International Cycling Union (UCI), the race will commence at 9:30 a.m. at the Crooked Tree Roundabout.
The young cyclists will travel along the Philip Goldson Highway, finishing the race in Belize City in front of Super Store on Central American Blvd. In 2024, Griga’s Cycling’s Arielle Gordon, who competed in the Junior category, finished fourth overall in the Women’s race, demonstrating exceptional skill and determination.
The Women Junior/Youth participants are eager to start the new year by competing in this prestigious event, showcasing their potential and striving for victory.
