By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): San Pedro police are investigating a report of sexual assault involving a woman who was attacked while jogging.
A 42 year old counsellor of south San Pedro Town reported that around 5:30pm on Sunday, October 4, she was jogging home when a man came up behind her, squeezed her buttocks and tried to push her to the ground.
She managed to stay on her feet. The woman told police she felt her life was in danger and feared she would be raped.
She described the man as fair in complexion, slim, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, with straight light brown hair and brown eyes. She says she would be able to recognize him if she saw him again.
No one has been detained.
