By Aaron Humes: An unfortunate mishap on Friday night claimed the life of Jennifer Hernandez on Ambergris Caye.
According to police sources, she was on the Secret Beach Road with her partner in a golf cart which he was driving. The driver hit a bump on the road and she fell out, sustaining injury.
Video seen by Breaking Belize News shows efforts were made to revive her but she apparently died on the scene.
An investigation will take place to determine the cause of death and whether any criminal charges can be laid.
