By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police in San Ignacio are investigating reports of a domestic dispute in Kontiki, Cayo.
According to reports, a call center agent told police that on April 12, 2026, she went to her ex’s house because after years of relationship, they separated and got back together.
There, she found her ex- boyfriend who is a police officer on the bed with another woman.
When she confronted them, her ex and the new woman began beating her and knocking her head against the wall.
She began screaming and that was when her ex- father-in-law intervened and separated them.
The ex-boyfriend was charged for wounding.
