By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Sandhill Warriors got past Kelly Street 3-2 in the second game of the William Dawson Peace Cup on Saturday at the MCC Grounds in Belize City.

Sandhill scored two early goals but they let up their guard and Kelly Street equalized. However, the Sandhill Warriors were undaunted and secured the victory late in the match.

Sandhill went ahead 1-0 early when Kelly’ Street’s Misael Muñoz scored an own goal in the sixth minute. Then they went up 2-0 when Man of the Match Ian Revolorio converted the second in the 10^th minute.

Kelly Street responded effectively, leveling the score on goals by Lemar White in the 22^nd minute and Tyreek Muschamp in the 30^th minute.

Late in the game, Revolorio completed his brace, hammering the winning goal for the Sandhill Warriors in the 84^th minute.

Kelly Street remain stuck in ninth place with 11 points while Sandhill moved up to eight points but couldn’t get out of last place. They trail Ebony Lake by two points.
