By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize District William Dawson Peace Cup took a break this past weekend for the All Star Games on Saturday, March 23. Rather than play each other, the two All Stars teams played the BDF and Police at the MCC Grounds in Belize City.

The All Stars Team 1 defeated the BDF Volunteer Battalion 6-2 in the first of two games for the All Stars.

Man of the Match Cion Augustine nailed two in the 17^th and 87^th minutes. Shemar Gillett also scored a brace in the 41^st and 58^th minutes. Aiden Nunez converted the opening goal in the 11^th minute and Scorian Stuart netted the third in the 38^th minute.

In the second game, the All Stars Team 2 slipped past the Police Dragon Unit 1-0.

The William Dawson Cup should resume after Easter.
