Wet Tuesday morning ahead for Belize as showers and thunderstorms target the south and central districts

By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belizeans can expect a wet start to Tuesday as moist and unstable weather conditions continue affecting much of the country.

According to the National Meteorological Service, periods of light to moderate rain, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected throughout the morning, particularly across the southern and central districts.

Forecasters say the unsettled weather will gradually decrease during the day, with skies becoming partly cloudy by the afternoon. While most areas should see improving conditions later today, isolated showers and thunderstorms will remain possible.

Tonight, rainfall activity is expected to become more isolated, although southern Belize could still experience a few additional showers and thunderstorms.

Temperatures are forecast to reach 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland, 87 degrees along the coast and 80 degrees in the hills. Meanwhile, marine conditions remain moderate with easterly to southeasterly winds between 10 and 20 knots and waves ranging from 4 to 6 feet.
