Water woes continue – Belize City without water till 6 p.m. today, says BWS

By Aaron Humes: Belize Water Services Limited (BWS) has announced a major continued interruption for the Belize City area.

While part of the City and the communities along the Philip Goldson Highway were planned to be out on Thursday afternoon to commission a new water main, a broken water main necessitated an interruption in supply up to 5:30 p.m.

Throughout the night, BWS has addressed low water pressure, but it has forced further interruptions. Therefore it has asked customers to conserve water up to 6 p.m. on Northside and Southside Belize City when it estimates full supply will return.
