By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belizeans can expect another pleasant day of weather as warm temperatures and mostly sunny skies dominate the national forecast heading into the weekend.
The National Meteorological Service says a moderate east to southeasterly airflow continues to influence conditions across the country, keeping rainfall activity limited and allowing for plenty of sunshine.
Most areas are expected to remain dry throughout Saturday, with only isolated showers developing in a few locations.
Temperatures will once again be on the warm side, reaching up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast and climbing as high as 96 degrees inland. Hill communities will enjoy slightly cooler conditions with highs around 84 degrees.
The favorable forecast is welcome news for families planning beach trips, sporting activities, community events, and other outdoor gatherings this weekend.
Forecasters say tonight will remain partly cloudy, with the possibility of isolated showers and thunderstorms mainly over southern Belize.
Looking ahead, a few showers and isolated thunderstorms could develop along coastal areas on Sunday before gradually decreasing later in the day.
Meanwhile, tropical weather conditions remain quiet, with no cyclone development expected near Belize during the next 48 hours.
For many Belizeans, the forecast points to another weekend of sunshine, warm temperatures, and generally stable weather conditions.
