By Breaking Belize News Staff: Belizeans can expect mostly sunny skies and warm conditions today as a moderate and relatively moist easterly airflow continues to dominate local weather patterns.
According to the National Meteorological Service, showers will be generally isolated throughout the country, with the exception of the south, where isolated thunderstorms are expected tonight.
Winds will blow from the east to southeast at 10 to 20 knots, creating choppy sea conditions and wave heights between 3 to 5 feet. No advisories are currently in place, but small craft operators should proceed with caution.
Temperatures will climb to 94°F (34°C) inland, 88°F (31°C) along the coast, and 82°F (28°C) in the hills. Nighttime lows are expected to dip to 74°F inland, 82°F coast, and 68°F in hilly areas.
Forecasters are not expecting any tropical cyclone development over the North Atlantic Basin within the next 48 hours.
Looking ahead to Tuesday, weather conditions are expected to remain largely the same.
