By Horace Palacio: Belize continues to enjoy generally fair and stable weather conditions today as an easterly airflow persists across the region.
The morning forecast from the National Meteorological Service indicates sunny skies for most of the day with only a few cloudy spells. Tonight, skies are expected to be clear to partly cloudy, with showers being isolated and unlikely to significantly impact outdoor activities.
Marine conditions remain moderate, with easterly winds blowing at 10 to 15 knots and seas choppy with wave heights between 3 to 5 feet. These conditions are favorable for seagoing activities, although boaters should remain cautious in choppy waters.
Temperatures are expected to climb as high as 94°F inland, with coastal areas seeing a more tempered high of 87°F. Overnight temperatures will dip to around 70°F inland and 80°F along the coast.
Looking ahead, similar conditions are expected on Thursday, offering another day of sunshine, warmth, and minimal rainfall. The next low tide will occur this evening at 6:53 PM, followed by a high tide early Thursday at 1:10 AM.
Belizeans planning morning swims or evening walks along the coast can expect typical dry season calm with minimal interruption. Sunrise today occurred at 5:27 AM and will set at 6:12 PM, providing a full day of sunshine for both travelers and residents alike.
