By Breaking Belize News Staff: Mainly fair weather continues to dominate Belize’s conditions today, bringing sunshine to most areas.
Residents can expect sunny skies with some cloudy spells and isolated showers or thunderstorms. This morning’s activity will focus over northern areas, while southern Belize could see a few showers or thunderstorms later tonight.
The winds are coming from the east to southeast at 10 to 20 knots, producing light chop to choppy seas with waves between 2 and 5 feet. Temperatures will remain hot, with the coast seeing highs around 90°F (32°C) and lows of 80°F (27°C). Inland areas will be warmer, with highs near 95°F (35°C) and lows of 74°F (23°C), while the hills remain cooler with highs of 82°F (28°C) and lows of 68°F (20°C).
No tropical cyclone formation is expected over the North Atlantic Basin in the next 48 hours.
The outlook for Monday remains mainly fair with isolated showers, before a few showers and isolated thunderstorms develop over the south Monday night.
Today’s high tide is at 10:25 a.m., followed by a low tide at 5:22 p.m. Another high tide occurs at 11:20 p.m., and the next low tide will be early tomorrow at 5:02 a.m.
Sunrise this morning was at 5:34 a.m., and sunset will be at 6:21 p.m. The moon set at 6:43 a.m. and will rise again at 7:34 p.m.
