By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize’s Premier League champions Verdes FC return to the pitch this Wednesday, July 9, for a crucial international friendly against San Benito FC of Guatemala. The match kicks off at 6:00 pm at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan, which will also serve as the home venue for Verdes’ upcoming CONCACAF Central American Cup fixtures.
This midweek showdown marks a pivotal moment in Verdes FC’s pre-season preparations. Following a narrow 0-1 loss to Xelajú MC on June 28, the Green Machine is eager to fine-tune its tactics and build momentum ahead of its regional debut on July 29 against Honduran club, Motagua.
Tickets are available at the gate for $15.00. Verdes FC are hoping fans are encouraged to pack the stands and show their support as Verdes FC gears up to represent Belize on the international stage.
