By Horace Palacio: Mark Anthony Patnett, a leukemia patient, is battling critically low blood levels and urgently needs blood donations. His blood level is at a dangerous 2, and his platelet count is a mere 4,000. He requires 10 pints of O+ blood and has only received 2 so far.

Patnett’s mother is making a desperate plea to the public for help, offering a $50 reward for each person who donates blood.

The blood bank is now located at the Belize Diagnostic Center, NOT near the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) as some may believe.

If you are able to help, please contact Mark’s mother at 615-9401 or his wife at 622-9824.

Your assistance could save a life.
