By Zoila Palma: The University of Belize and the National Institute of Culture and History (NICH) will celebrate the launch of the Gwendolyn Lizarraga Scholarship and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
The event will be held on November 11 at 10am at the UB Conference Center.
The ceremony will feature a keynote address by Francis Fonseca, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Education, Culture, Science and Technology.
Through this partnership, UB continues to advance academic opportunities, strengthen collaboration, and support the preservation of Belize’s history and cultural heritage—reflecting its commitment to responsive education, academic excellence, and sustainable development.
