By Zoila Palma: Today, UNICEF Belize, in partnership with the National Commission for Families and Children (NCFC) and the Ministry of Human Development Family Support and Gender Affairs launched a community driven campaign that goes beyond awareness. It calls everyone to act.
The “ Blue Teddy Bear Campaign” is a movement to Break the Silence and protect Belize’s children from violence and sexual abuse.
The campaign launch marks the beginning of our efforts to equip communities to be advocates for children and to be a part of the solution to ending violence against children.
“Let’s build safer homes, safer schools, and safer communities together.
Because every child deserves protection, love, and the chance to thrive,” UNICEF Belize said.
