UDP National Party Council meeting underway as supporters of Tracey Taegar-Panton protest outside headquarters

By Aaron Humes: The long awaited United Democratic Party (UDP) National Party Council meeting is underway at the party’s headquarters. While some reports suggest there is no quorum, there is no official information as to whether there is a quorum or not.

UDP supporters of Leader of the Opposition Tracey Taegar-Panton are massed outside the headquarters and had heated exchanges with Acting Party Chairman Alberto August. The supporters of Taegar-Panton are, apparently threatening to “take over.”

Some are threatening to force their way into the headquarters if Moses “Shyne” Barrow and others do not leave.

A rally hosted by Taegar-Panton was held earlier this morning.
