By Breaking Belize News Staff: Acting chairman of the United Democratic Party (UDP) Alberto August has reportedly taken to social media to call out Lee Mark Chang for failing to speak publicly on the Budna incident.
“On the Joseph Budna matter, have you noticed that Leemark Chang is yet to utter a single word against the Prime Minister, Kareem Musa, Abelardo Mai or anyone in the PUP while everyday, on social media, he attacks the UDP Leader and the Party’s Vice Chairman,” August said.
“This fella is the cancer in the UDP. He cannot criticize anyone in the PUP no matter what they do because he has to protect the almost $20,000 rent money he admits receiving every month from the PUP. This fella is financially compromised. This fella is in the pockets of the PUP. While the majority of UDP supporters are expressing positive remarks regarding the Party Leader accepting the invitation from the Leader of the Opposition to join her in the 10 parade, this fella is the sole voice criticizing the show of unity,” August added.
August accused Lee Mark of being bad for the UDP.
“As long as this fella continues to collect personal monthly money from the PUP he will continue being bad for the UDP regardless of the crumbs he gives to a few around him. This PUP compromised character can never lead me,” he said.
Notably, Lee Mark has been a staunch supporter of the UDP and most recently, of Tracy Panton.
