By Rubén Morales Iglesias: St Catherine Academy (SCA) won the bronze medal in volleyball at the Under-18 CODICADER Games after defeating El Salvador’s Colegio Sagrado Corazón 3-1 (23-25, 25-17, 27-25, 25-23) at the FESAVOL Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador, on Monday.
On Sunday, SCA lost in the semifinals to Nicaragua’s Colegio Nuestra Señora del Rosario 3-2 (22-25, 15-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-12).
Prior to that, SCA finished Group B play with a 2-1 record.
Colegio Nuestra Señora del Rosario will face Guatemala’s Colegio de Señoritas Sagrado Corazón in the final at 4:00 pm.
