By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Under 17 Belize Men’s National Team are set to begin their campaign in the U17 Concacaf Qualifiers on Friday in Toluca, Mexico. As part of their preparation, the team wrapped up a series of friendly matches in Mexico with a record of one win and two losses.
After those matches, the U17 BMNT are now fully focused on the U17 Concacaf Qualifiers, which kick off on Friday, ready to tackle stronger competition. They’ll be measuring up against regional rivals Mexico, Nicaragua, Barbados, and Dominica in Group C in a round-robin tournament.
Belize kick off the Concacaf Qualifiers on Friday, February 7, against Dominica at midday. The U17 BMNT will then face Nicaragua at midday on Sunday, February 9. Their third match will be the most demanding as they tackle host nation Mexico at 3:00 pm on Monday, February 3. Belize will conclude their group stage against Barbados on Sunday, February 16, at midday.
