By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Under 17 Belize Men’s National Football Team (U17 BMNT) will play two friendly matches against the U17 Honduras Men’s National Football Team in preparation for the 2025 CONCACAF U17 Qualifiers for the 2025 World Cup. These matches are scheduled for Thursday and Saturday, January 16 and 18, 2025, in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
In the upcoming 2025 CONCACAF U17 Qualifiers, Belize will face Mexico, Nicaragua, Barbados, and Dominica. The qualifiers will be held in Mexico City from Ferbruary 7-16.
“The friendly matches against Honduras are seen as an opportunity for coach Dale Pelayo and the team to assess their readiness and strengthen team dynamics ahead of the competitive qualifiers,” the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) said in a statement.
The U17 BMNT travel to Honduras on Tuesday, January 14.
