Saturday’s match at Estadio Marco Antonio Fión Castellanos in Flores saw the BGNT take control early, combining disciplined defense with creative attacking play to secure a 3-1 win. The team’s fluid passing and pressing game overwhelmed the Tigritos, setting the tone for the weekend.
On Sunday, the Belizean side returned to action at Estadio Comunal de Paxcamán in Santa Ana, where forward Amina Burgess stole the spotlight with a hat trick. Deborah Gordon added a fourth goal to seal the 4-1 victory. The BGNT’s dominated possession and created numerous scoring opportunities.
These matches form part of Belize’s preparation for the upcoming UNCAF U16 Championship.
