“As a key gateway for commerce, including sugar exports to the United States, the port is a great example of how infrastructure partnerships create jobs, enhance supply chain resilience, and advance shared security priorities in the Caribbean Basin,” the U.S. Embassy said.
The Port of Big Creek is a major commercial seaport located in southern Belize, near Independence Village and serves as one of Belize’s primary export hubs.
