By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On October 6, U.S. Ambassador Michelle Kwan warmly welcomed Assistant Secretary of State Brian Nichols to Belize, showcasing the beauty of Cahal Pech and facilitating a tour led by the Institute of Archaeology (NICH) Belize.
The visit continued today with a stop at Corazon Creek Technical High School in Toledo, where they observed improvements funded by the U.S. Department of Defense.
Assistant Secretary of State Nichols met with Minister of Home Affairs Kareem Musa, Minister of National Defence Florencio Marin Jr., Minister of Education Francis Fonseca, Minister of State in Ministry of Foreign Affairs Osmond Martinez among other leaders.
