By Aaron Humes: Police have charged 28-year-old Tyron Castro, a call center agent, with abetment to murder in connection with the January 7 killing of Mark Gabourel, a Caribbean Chicken delivery driver.
Gabourel, 55, was shot and killed during a robbery attempt in Belmopan while making a delivery. Two men on a motorcycle intercepted the truck, firing shots and striking Gabourel.
Castro’s arrest brings the total number of charged suspects to three. Wilhem Coye and Shaylon Melvin Santos, both already charged with murder, are also implicated in the crime.
