By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) recently handed over the keys to 2 new homes in Cayo.
Two families, one from San Ignacio and one from Santa Familia received the keys to their new homes through MIDH’s flagship housing program.
The handover marked a major milestone for both recipients, who expressed genuine joy and gratitude as they stepped into homes of their own for the first time.
“This initiative reflects the Government of Belize’s continued work to expand access to secure and affordable housing for Belizean families,” a statement from the Government said.
