By Breaking Belize News Staff: Two brothers accused in connection with a machete assault have been arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court and offered bail.

Eighteen-year-old Adam Reynolds, a labourer of Burrell Boom, appeared unrepresented on Thursday before Magistrate Neeshad Mohammed in Court #7. He was read a single charge of aggravated assault with a machete upon Tyrice Flowers.

Reynolds pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors did not object to bail, and he was offered bail in the sum of $1,000 plus one surety of the same amount.

As part of his bail conditions, Reynolds was ordered not to interfere with the virtual complainant, the complainant’s family, or any prosecution witnesses. He must also stay 100 feet away from Flowers and report to the Burrell Boom Police Station every Friday, beginning May 29, 2026.

Adam Reynolds is charged jointly with his older brother, 27-year-old Alexander Reynolds, who was arraigned late Wednesday evening and also offered bail of $1,000. Police are reportedly seeking a third person in connection with the incident.

Both brothers are due back in court on July 21, 2026.
