By Breaking Belize News Staff: Two Belize City men accused of murdering their 19-year-old friend, Jamir Rudel Cambranes, have received partial disclosure of the evidence against them as their case continues through the Magistrate’s Court.

Kameron Kareem Heusner, 21, and Kenrick Lindbergh Robinson, 19, appeared before a Senior Magistrate in Belize City on Thursday, November 5, where they were provided with 61 pages of witness statements and other disclosure documents.

However, the prosecution’s case file remains incomplete, with at least one witness statement still outstanding.

The investigating officer informed the court that the file had been returned by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions with instructions for additional investigative work.

The magistrate subsequently adjourned the matter to November 23, 2026, giving investigators additional time to complete the outstanding disclosure.

Both accused, who indicated that they have secured legal representation despite appearing without attorneys, were further remanded to the Belize Central Prison.

As previously reported by Breaking Belize News, the case had already faced delays, with prosecutors informing the court in October that the disclosure materials were not yet ready.

Cambranes, a technician of Euphrates Avenue, was found shot to death along the Burrell Boom/Hattieville Road on April 22, 2026.

Investigators allege that Cambranes had been travelling with individuals known to him in a silver Chevrolet Equinox on the night of April 21, shortly before he disappeared.

Police reportedly obtained surveillance footage showing Cambranes entering the vehicle outside Robinson’s residence on Laura Dunn Street. Before losing contact with his girlfriend, Cambranes had sent her a photograph of the vehicle’s license plate.

His girlfriend subsequently tracked his cellphone, leading relatives to discover his body along the roadside.

Police also reportedly recovered forensic evidence, including blood samples, from the vehicle.

Robinson was arraigned for murder on April 27, while Heusner was arraigned on April 30.

Both men remain on remand as the case continues.
