By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Tut Bay FC closed out Thursday’s triple‑header with a strong 3–1 win over Lake I FC at the Marion Jones Sports Complex, completing the Belize District Football Association (BDFA) First Division’s weather‑delayed opening weekend matches.

Tut Bay’s goals came from Esmond Sanker, Jaymer Bradley, and Devaughan Tablada, while Byron Guzman scored for Lake I.

The victory gives Tut Bay a positive start as the competition begins to take shape.

The tournament was originally set to begin on Sunday, but heavy rain forced a postponement. The BDFA managed to stage all three matches on George Price Day, ensuring the 2025–2026 Closing Championship kicked off on a high note.
