Trial Farm woman says partner broke into home and stole tools and wheelchair

By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A 50 year old woman of Temash River Street, Trial Farm Village, Orange Walk District, has reported that her common law husband damaged her property and stole several items from her home.

The woman told police that around 3:00pm on Sunday, October 25, she was in Belize City with her daughter when a neighbour called and sent her video footage that allegedly showed her partner damaging a $100 surveillance camera mounted in front of her house.

She returned home around 8:00pm, where she said she saw him outside the house.

When police responded, they found the burglar bar door open and the door bolts damaged.

Missing from the house were a weed eater, a power washer, a tile cutter and a boxed wheelchair, with a total value of $885.

The woman said she did not give anyone permission to take the items. She told police the man had left his house keys inside.

Scenes of Crime personnel processed the scene. Police are searching for the man, who is wanted for damage to property and theft.
